Care Packages

The client wanted a poster created for community services project for Downtown Silver Spring and Montgomery County. The project was to create care packages for the troops. The client wanted to not only represent the community but also the need for the care packages.

I love print design. There is no other way to say that statement. I fell in love with typography because each letter is so uniquely different from the other. Font families showcase different kerning, spacing and positioning. I also admire how font looks on paper.

In my opinion, web design has changed since the early 1990's. I am happy to have been a part of the evolution. I look back and remember a site that was text heavy, with not a clear layout and extremely minimal imagery. Today there are exciting opportunities to create a site that showcases different fonts, a wide variety of colors and layout.

What is identity? To me it is how a person or a company would like to be showcased to the world. If it were not for identity, people would not know what sets their identity apart from their competitor. The web showcases sites around the world that uses identity on a day-to-day basis. Though there is a handful of good identity, there is a ton of bad identity.

Can you believe that the winter season has just begun. The Christmas decorations are being hung and the smell of hot chocolate is in the air. With winter approaching means that this year is about to end. I have had a lot of success this year and I want to thank everyone that has become my client. Without you, none of this is possible.
